Kawhi Leonard signs endorsement deal with New Balance

Earlier today, Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes reported that Toronto Raptors small forward Kawhi Leonard reached an agreement with New Balance on a multiyear endorsement deal. Leonard turned down a 4-year, $22 million dollar extension with Jordan Brand earlier this year. That deal expired this year which made him a sneaker free agent. Kawhi will serve as the face of New Balance basketball, as like brands Converse and Puma, are looking to re-establish a presence in the performance basketball space. Darius Bazley skips G League to take Internship with New Balance

2018 McDonald’s All-American Darius Bazley initially had a scholarship at Syracuse until I March he decided to forego that to play a season in the G-League ( can we go back to calling it the D-League?). The Orange Bowl Committee, a non-profit sports organization that serves South Florida, in partnership with TD Bank, worked with local schools to collect over 1,300 pair of shoes. Their Kicks for Kids program, (not to be confused with the Kicks 4 Kids.
