When they released in 1999, the Flightposite had an aesthetic unlike anything on the market. The follow up to the, at the time, largely overlooked Foamposite and Foamposite Pro, the Fligbtposite was less bulky, offered better fit, cushioning and was largely an overall better performer than its predecessors. As it turns 25 this year, it’s only fitting that Nike would trot these beauties out for another retail run. Nike Air Flightposite “Chinese New Year “

Another day, another shoe seemingly added to Nike’s Chinese New Year collection. The newest addition is the Air Flightposite. This version of the classic silhouette features a purple Foamposite upper that has a gradiation to a near-pink, in addition to the design that also adorns the aforementioned upper. The same coloration is present on the Swoosh that is present on the upper. Nike Air Flightposite to release in Dark Neon Royal

This upcoming colorway of the Air Flightposite is a hats off to Penny Hardaway’s days with the Orlando Magic. It featuresm a Dark Neon Royal Foamposite upper with a black , zippered neoprene shroud with stitched royal swooshes on the lateral forefoot and at the top of the sleeve. Dark Neon Royal is also present on the front pull tab and the rear tab, which the same black and dark neon royal stripes found on the Foamposite One.
