Boston Celtics announced that point guard Kyrie Irving will miss the team’s Tuesday game against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a left hip strain. After missing a few games due to injury over the past week, Irving played in back to back games to kick off February. Irving has averaged 23.8 points and 7.0 assists this season.

Larry Nance Jr. has sprained MCL

According to Adrain Wojnarowski of ESPN, Cleveland Cavaliers forward Larry Nance Jr.’s MRI concluded he has a sprained MCL and could be out for two weeks. The injury occurred halfway through the first quarter of the Cavaliers’ 123-115 loss to the Indiana Pacers. Nance was only able to contribute a single point in five minutes. Nance ended up missing the team’s game Wednesday against the Pelicans. Nance said that this was the same knee he injured in college but it was more severe than the one that has currently befallen…

The strange journey of Patrick McCaw and the Golden State Warriors has taken a new direction. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that McCaw is signing an offer sheet with the Cleveland Cavaliers today that is for two years and worth $6 million. The second year is non-guaranteed. Tristran Thompson out two to four weeks with sprained foot

Cavaliers trade Kyle Korver to Jazz

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski the Cleveland Cavaliers traded veteran sharpshooter to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Alec Burks and two future second-round picks. Korver had been averaging 6.8 points in 15.7 minutes per contest while shooting 46.3 percent from three-point range.
