Giannis Antetokounmpo out vs Wizards due to Hip and Quad Injuries

Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss the team’s game Friday against the Washington Wizards. The Journal-Sentinel’s Matt Velazquez reports that Antetokounmpo was listed on the NBA’s injury report with a left hip contusion and right quad soreness. Velazquez adds that Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said that an injury that has been lingering for a couple of games will keep Giannis out of the game. Back in November we covered Milwaukee Bucks’ star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo signing a long-term deal with Nike. In that deal were the plans for a signature shoe for Antetokounmpo.
