According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, John Wall and s few other Houston Rockets players were sent home Wednesday due to another teammate testing postive. To be clear, Wall himself tested negative , but the tracing stems from rookie Kenyon Martin , Jr, who is “not with the team, self isolating”, per the team’s injury report. John Wall will more than likely not suit up for the Washington Wizards this season as he continues to recover from a torn Achilles’ tendon. The recovery seems to be progressing fairly well , as Wall threw down a dunk in a pregame workout in Boston. Hopefully this is a sign that Wall will be able to return close to form, but continued stretches of good health have been hard to come by for Wall over the last 2 seasons, he has played in only 73 games.

The Washington Wizards’efforts to right the ship this season just took another kick in the nether region. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Brian Windhorst have reported that Washington Wizards guard John Wall is plannning to have surgery on his injured left heel. Shams Charania of the Athletic reported that Wall “tried to battle through the pain in his injured heel” to try to help reroute the Wizards’ derailed season.
