Kawhi Leonard sues Nike over logo

Kawhi Leonard and Jordan Brand parted ways back in 2018. He subsequently signed an endorsement deal with the Boston Massachusetts based company. I’m sure he thought his dealings with Nike and Jordan Brand were done, at least for the foreseeable future but that is not the case they will be seeing each other again- in court.  According the Portland Business Journal’s Matthew Kish, Leonard is suing Nike. Vans sues Target over alleged stolen design

Skate brand Vans has sued Target. The “target of the suit ( pun only slightly intended) is the retailer’s “Carmella Lace-Up “ from its in-house Wild Fable brand, which Vans says is a bit too similar to their classic Old Sokol sneakers. Adidas facing lawsuit from Art Basel

During last year’s Art Basel event in Miami, Adidas gave away 1,000 pair of limited edition “Art Basel” EQT ADV sneakers. The high end art fest was not pleased and Tuesday filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, case MCH Swiss Exhibition (Basel) Ltd., V. 1996 Olympic Champion Bruny Surin sues Puma

Bruny Sarin, A former sprinter and member of the Canadian 4 x 100 m relay that won gold at the 1996 Summer Olympics,is suing Puma. The suit stems from the German athletic company’s use of the name of it’s “Cell Surin” line of running shoes.  Mr. Surin became aware of the shoes in June 2015 and contacted Puma. Sketchers facing lawsuit…..Again

Sketchers is in familiar territory and by that meaning they are getting sued by someone, and it is a familiar foe: Adidas.  The Three Stipes levied a lawsuit against Sketchers in Sepetmber of 2015 for it’s “unlawful behavior” over mimicked designs of the their Stan Smith sneaker with their Onix shoe, which is a carbon copy of the Smith.
