What I saw in the Lakers/Blazers game

The Lebron James era in Lakerland was officially rolled out in games that count last night against Portland. Though the Lakers came up short, losing 128-119, I saw a lot of positives ,and a few negatives ,out of this iteration of Los Angeles. The caveat to this analysis is that this is just after one game so the right activities can be stopped and the wrong ones can be perpetuated. Overall Effort and Intensity Though Luke Walton’s Lakers clubs have not been successful in terms of wins and losses, one…

Warriors serve Rockets 41-point beatdown in game 3

It certainly seems the talk of Stephen Curry’s basketball demise was greatly exaggerated. He had seemingly been out of rhythm over the past few games, and at least offensively, had not resembled the Stephen Curry we have grown accustomed to being amazed by. Curry had 35 points as his Golden State Warriors laid the smack down on the Houston Rockets 126-85 in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. After a close opening quarter, the Warriors distanced themselves and took the first step in seizing control of the game with…

Cavaliers steamroll Celtics 116-86 in Game 3

Already down 0-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals, dropping game 3 would certainly be the death knell in the series, their season and potentially Lebron James’ second tenure with the Cavaliers.
