Stephen Curry and other Warriors’ players pushing management to sign two players

In the NBA, as in all sports, a team is either improving or losing ground to the field. Even a team that has been to four consecutive NBA Finals, winning three of them, is not immune to this truth. Stephen Curry seems to be acutely aware of this as apparently he and other players have expressed their desire for them to go after DeAndre Jordan and Jamal Crawford in free agency. Here is an excellent video delving into this by YouTuber RBtheBreakthrough. Jordan could sure up their rebounding issues and…

Curry’s record breaking night from distance help Warriors claim 2-0 lead in NBA Finals

Stephen Curry stroked a NBA Finals record nine three-pointers and scored 33 points as the Warriors used a huge fourth quarter to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 122-103 to take a 2-0 lead in the championship round. In addition to his big scoring night, Curry also had nine rebounds and seven assists, once again dispelling this erroneous perception by some that he is just a shooter. Curry had this to say of his game 2 performance: Pretty special night and hopefully some more special things happen and we get two more…

Warriors serve Rockets 41-point beatdown in game 3

Curry had 35 points as his Golden State Warriors laid the smack down on the Houston Rockets 126-85 in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. After a close opening quarter, the Warriors distanced themselves and took the first step in seizing control of the game with…

Game 6: We’re Going Back to Cali

After the beat downs of the Cavaliers served up by Golden State in the first two games of the finals, Cleveland looked like they had no business on the court with Warriors. Game 2 was particularly troubling because I’d never, in all my years of watching the NBA Finals, see a time check out in a finals game. After a comeback in game 4, to give them a commanding 3-1 lead heading back to the friendly confines of Oracle Arena, game 5 was thought to be a prelude to a…
