Valdosta State beats down Fort Valley State 55-6 in Okefenokee Classic

The Blazers of Valdosta State came out strong in the first quarter and didn’t let up in their 55-6 lambasting of Fort Valley State in the Okefenokee Classic. Albany State opens season with victory over Valdosta State

Saturday's matchup between Albany State and Valdosta State is the 19th time the two schools have met. Valdosta State has dominated the series, compiling a 17-1 record. The Blazers of VSU also rolled into Albany sporting a number 11 ranking in the American Football Coaches Association poll.
