Malaysian police seize nearly 12,000 pair of counterfeit shoes in raid

In a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, authorities seized nearly 12,000 pairs of counterfeit sneakers. At a press conference , the director of the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs and Ministry’s Enforcement Division, Datuk Iskandar Halim Sulaiman said the 11,883 pairs of knockoff footwear ranged from Nike to Tommy Hilfiger and were worth a combined 324,110 Malaysian Ringgit (RM) , which is the equivalent of $79,385 US.
