Warriors to sign Marquese Chriss

Marquese Chriss has reached an agreement with the Golden State Warriors. According to Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes, the 8th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, has agreed on a one year deal. After being traded from the Houston Rockets to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chriss’ scoring tripled ( from 1.8 ppg to 5.7 ppg ) and his rebounds and minutes increased ( 1.8 rpg to 4.2 rpg and 6.5 mpg to 14.6 mpg).

Nike unlikely to match Puma’s offer to Kyle Kuzma

Earlier in September is was reportered that Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma was nearing a sneaker deal with Puma. Nike, who Kuzma was with at the time, had 10 days to exercise the match clause in their deal with Kuzma if they wished to keep him on their roster. Kyle Kuzma may not be ready for the start of training camp

According to the New York Times’ Marc Stein, Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma may miss the beginning of training camp due to a left ankle injury. Kuzma suffered the injury while he was with Team USA during a FIBA World Cup exhibition back in late August. Last year the 27th overall pick in the 2017 Draft averaged a career-high 18.7 points and 5.5 rebounds on 46.5 percent from the floor.
