Talladega’s Championship quest comes up short against Loyola

From talladegatornaoes.com KANSAS CITY, Mo. – An outstanding season by Talladega came to a close in the NAIA National Championship with a loss to the Loyola (La.) Wolf Pack by a score of 71-56. The Tornadoes, playing less than 24 hours after a nail-biting overtime victory over Thomas More, put up a valiant effort against Loyola, which finished the season 37-1. Blazers’ Nurkic fined $40k by NBA over fan confrontation

Portland Trail Blazers big man Jusef Nurkic will be $40,000 lighter in the wallet after he was fined by the NBA. In an announcement released Tuesday morning the league said the fine was being levied due to Nurkic confronting a fan and going Peyton Manning on the guy’s cellphone.
