Tennessee State’s Aaron Nkrumah nabs another Player of the Week honor

For his on court exploits , Tennessee State guard Aaron Nkrumah was named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week. In leading the Tigers to a 2-0 week the senior averaged 27.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals on .588/.833/.600 shooting splits. In the Tigers’ 105-100 overtime win over Morehead State, Nkrumah dropped a season high 30 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists on 12/20 from the floor and 2/3 from downtown. From the SWAC to the SEC: former AAMU lineman signs with Georgia

Former Alabama A&M offensive lineman TyQuez Richardson has committed to Georgia. The Atlanta native started in all 12 games for the Bulldogs in 2025. Coming out of Mays High School, the 6-5 330-pound Richardson chose Alabama A&M over Colorado, which had made an offer for his services. Richardson returns to his home state, the Bulldogs as part of the 53rd-ranked transfer class in the nation, according to On3’s 2026 College Football Team Transfer Portal Rankings.
