New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is auctioning off the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2 he wore during the team’s 45-0 beatdown of Los Angeles Rams last week.
Worn as part of the league’s “My Cleats, My Cause” initiative,proceeds from the auction will go to the Bill Belichick Foundation , which provides coaching, mentorship and financial support to football and lacrosse organisations across the country.
Coach Hoodie will also sport the kicks two more times – during the patriot’s Thursday evening tilt against LA’s other team, the Chargers and in their regular season finale on January 3 against the New York Jets.
As it currently stands, the auction, which is open until January 10, is up to $2,850.00 and and Belicheck will autograph and personalize them for the winning bidder.
