Blazers’ Nurkic suffers severe leg injury

The Portland TrailBlazers defeated the New Jersey Nets 148-144 in double overtime Monday night but it came at great cost.

Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic suffered a grusesome leg injury ( which we will not show images of or post links to, because we have couth) in the second overtime when he was attempting to tip in a missed shot when he landed awkwardly in traffic causing the leg to bend between the knee and ankle.

He was stretchered off the court.

It put a damper on not only a very entertaining game but a great one for Nurkic,as he had tallied 32 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks and 2 steals. It seemed the 2014 first rounder was coming into his own, having a career season, averaging 15.4, 10.3 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steals per game.
