Day 2 of NCAA Tournament ends with a bang

The round of 64 wrapped up tonight and it did not disappoint. Upsets were the order of the day, the biggest of which was 15 seeded Middle Tennessee State upending 2nd seeded Michigan State, 90-81. Others included in the East, 14 seed Stephen F. Austin bouncing 3 seed West Virginia 70-56; in the South, 13 seed Hawaii ended California’s tournament,77-66. In the West bracket, 11 seed Northern Iowa defeated Texas , 75-72 on a half court heave at the end of regulation by Paul Jesperson that will no doubt go down as of the most memorable shots in tournament history.

Tournament play continues tomorrow at 11:40 am CST with 3 Miami and 11 Wichita State squaring off.
