Deandre Ayton suspended 25 games for violating NBA Drug Policy

The NBA announced that Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton will be suspended for 25 games due to a violation of the league’s anti-drug policy.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that he popped positive for a diuretic.

Ayton had 18 points, 11 rebounds to go along with four blocks in the Suns’ 124-95 season-opening win Wednesday over the Kings of Sacramento.
