Farfetched and Swear collaboration allows consumers to build their own high end footwear

A new partnership between multi-billion dollar fashion e-commerce company Farfetched, and London-based footwear label, Swear( both of which were the brainchild of Portuguese entrepreneur José Neves), that launched on October 14 seeks to bring luxury materials and sneakers to the customization landscape. Their new customization platform Myswear, allows consumers to construct their sneakers from a selection of 16 various silhouettes and over 80 combinations of luxury materials and colors.

Some of the high end materials at a user’s disposal are Nappa leather, sided, metallics, and hair on calf and exotic skins such as python crocodile, and ostrich. The company says all of the materials are ethically source.

Handmade in Portugal and using luxurious materials, these shoes are not cheap- they start at $385 and can be as expensive as $10,000 and the turnaround time is approximately four to six weeks from order submission to or completion.
