To commemorate the 25th anniversary its original 1996 release, the “Freshwater” Air Max Griffey 1 will make another return to retail in 2021.
Last seen in 2016 as a celebration of Ken Griffey Jr.’s induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame, it should stay true to the original and feature a white and black upper accented with red and freshwater. A black forefoot Swoosh and “24” on the ankle round out the upper.
Below the aforementioned upper is a white and black accented midsole which houses the forefoot and heel max air units with a black rubber outsole with white and freshwater areas completes the aesthetic.
The “Freshwater” Nike Air Max Griffey 1could see a release in the Spring of 2021. More information on these will be provided as it avails itself.
