Grambling will hold its Pro Day on March 19

GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University football team will hold its Pro Day on Tuesday, March 19, Tigers head coach Broderick Fobbs announced on Tuesday.

Individual workouts are slated to get underway at 9 a.m. at Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium. Fans are invited to come watch field workouts. Individual workouts in the weight room are closed to the public.
 
Grambling State has had several players sent to the NFL, including Chad Williams, who was selected by the Arizona Cardinals during the 2017 NFL Draft, while Chester Rogers earned a spot with the Indianapolis Colts. In addition, Trent Scott was signed and played last season as a free agent with the Los Angeles Chargers. Martez Carter recently signed with as a member of the practice squad with the New Orleans Saints and Montrel Meander is currently a member of the Oakland Raiders.

The Tigers have several players receiving interest this season, including Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Defensive Player of the Year De’Arius Christmas and All-SWAC selection Percy Cargo, Jr.

Other players receiving interest is Linwood Banks, Darrell Brown, Davante Brown, Trevaun Calahan, La’Allan Clark, Rodney Jackson, Devohn Lindsey, Marc Orozco, Johntavious Robinson, Calief Samon, Johnkill Skipper and Malcolm Williams.

The Tigers will have additional players from previous seasons participating in Pro Day with hopes of being selected in the NFL Draft or being signed to a free-agent contract.
