When we initially covered the upcoming “Mamba Mentality” Nike PG 3, which is a special edition of George’s third signature model that is in commemoration of Mamba Day 2019, there were not any images of the sneaker.
Images of this PG 3 have now come to light. The sneaker features a multi-colored abstract pattern through the entire upper with black overlaying at the forefoot and wrapping around the top of the heel. This upper sits atop a black midsole with a gold swoosh on the lateral midfoot. The midsole splits into white at the lateral forefoot and features the 93552 zip code of PG’s Palmdale, California hometown. Wrapping around the back features the quote, “Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon”. A yellow outsole completes the look of the sneaker.
The “Mamba Mentality” PG 3 will release April 13 at nike.com and select Nike Basketball retail venues. The sticker price is set at $120 USD.
