After the initial launch of the Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez last month , the next pair to release will reference his alter ego, “Kung Fu Kenny.”
The shoe is outfitted in primarily a red leather upper with white overlays taking their place on the toecap, up the sides of the lacing system and at the top the heel. A nylon strip that runs down the center of the tongue and over the laces reads “DON’T TRIP.” Chinese characters on lateral forefoot translates to “damn”, which is a nod to Kendrick’s latest album.
The Nike Cortez Kenny 2 launches via the Nike SNKRS Pass exclusively in the L.A. area. Reservations will soon open on the application soon.
