Kentucky State University women’s basketball senior Brooke Wallace has been invited to participate in a professional combine in Tampa, the site of the 2019 NCAA Division I Final Four.

Wallace (Oberlin, OH) will take part in the 22nd annual Women’s Pro Combine and Free Agent Camp Sunday, April 7 on the campus of the University of Tampa.

“As an athlete and a coach you strive to have moments like these,” said Kentucky State University head coach Terrance Slater. “When you recruit players we tell them about these moments, so we are elated and we will use this as motivation during the off-season.”

During the combine, Wallace will have the opportunity to compete at the highest level in drills, position work and scrimmages in front of WNBA coaches and coaches from many teams overseas.

She helped lead the Thorobreds to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship game. On the season, Wallace finished with 12.5 points and 10.8 rebounds, both team highs, en route to being named second team All-SIAC.
