Lakers to add Avery Bradley once he clears waivers

Though the Lakers missed out on the big fish of Kawhi Leonard, they have made several quality-appearing signings in the interim. Since this weekend, the Lakers have added, Demarcus Cousins, Danny Green, and Quinn Cook and resigned Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Rajon Rondo and JaVale McGee.

With Avery Bradley agreeing to a two-year, $9.7 million deal, it appears Los Angeles ha made another solid addition to their roster.

The deal is actually a “one plus one”, with the second year being a player option.

Last year it was a tale of two stories for Bradley. Starting off with the Los Angeles Clippers, in 46 games he averaged 8.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, after being acquired by the Memphis Grizzlies, he saw a precipitous jump in his production, putting up 16.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. If this is the Bradley the Lakers are getting, then this will be one of the better bargain signings of the offseason.
