Big Baller Brand is unveiling the next sneaker in the ZO2 collection. Named the “ZO2.19”, it will worn by Lonzo Ball during his upcoming second NBA campaign.
There are three initial colorways of the ZO2.19. The “New White” and ”Lilac” colorways feature a reinforced spacer mesh base with overlays of suede and then leather. The multi-colored “Madagascar” substitutes more leather in place of the suede overlays. According to the brand the mesh aims to be “strong enough to never blow out.” Present on the upper is a forefoot strap composed of full grain nappa leather that BBB says will provide “incredible support in the most aggressive cuts and directional changes.” This upper is supported by a midsole that is touted as featuring “40% more rebound than standard EVA foam.”
Big Baller Brand will begin taking pre-orders today. The ZO2.19 will not carry the hefty $495 price tag of last year’s model- it will be priced at $200.
In addition to the three aforementioned colorways, there will be colorways dropped throughout the season, including a Lakers-themed color Lonzo teases in the video reveal of the shoe.
