Marcus Smart reminds everyone that Breonna Taylor’s murderers are still free

The names Brett Hankison, Myles Cosgrove, Jonathan Mattingly and Joshua Jaynes may not be familiar to you but they should be for those are the race soldiers that murdered Breonna Taylor. If you have somehow managed to miss this story, on March 13 Louisville, Kentucky used a battering ram to enter Taylor’s apartment on a no-knock warrant. The commotion caused by the intruders roused Taylor and her boyfriend Kenneth Walker. Mr. Walker did what any person would do when gun-toting strangers break into your home and attempted to defend both himself and Breonna as she lay dying in the hallway of her home after being shot multiple times by badged murderers. The reason for the warrant was because police had it set in their pea brains that Taylor’s home had been used by gentlemen involved in the outdoor pharmaceutical exchange had used her residence to receives packages. No drugs were found in the residence.

In the four months since Breonna Taylor’s slaying, only one of the killers , Brett Hankison, has been fired. Jon Mattingly and Myles Cosgrove have been placed on administrative reassignment.

None of the involved officers have been help accountable for their actions and Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart wanted to remind everyone of that. In speaking with the media on Tuesday afternoon, Smart answered every question with “Justice for Breonna Taylor.”
