EUGENE, Ore. —

The quartet of Daniel Stokes, Randolph Ross, Akeem Sirleaf and Trevor Stewart posted the fastest semifinal time in the men’s 4×400-meter relay, running a 3:03.23. The Aggies will go for the NCAA title on Friday, looking to add the outdoor championship to the indoor crown they won back in March.

Ross also posted the fastest time in the 400 meters, winning his heat race in a 45.24. Stewart — who was the national runner-up in the outdoor 400 meters in 2019 — was third with a 45.36, winning his heat and giving the Aggies two finalists in that event.

Javonte Harding, the MEAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships’ Outstanding Runner, ran a 20.28 in his 200-meter heat to qualify for Friday’s final.

The Aggies also qualified for the final in the men’s 4×100-meter relay, winning their heat with a 39.00.
