Howard 92, Saint Peter’s 80

WASHINGTON, D.C. — 
Howard secured their first home win of the season after running past Saint Peter’s 92-80 inside Burr Gymnasium.

With the win, the Bison moved to .500 (2-2) on the young season, while the Peacocks dropped to 2-2.

Five Bison scored in double figures, led by freshman forward Brooklyn Fort-Davis and veteran guard Sarah Edmond. The Chicago native recorded her first career double-double with 16 points and 13 boards while Edmond added 16 points and three steals in the win.

UNC Greensboro 86, Maryland Eastern Shore 45

GREENSBORO, N.C. — 
Bairesha Gill-Miles had a team-high 14 points, but Maryland Eastern Shore fell 86-45 on the road to UNC Greensboro on Sunday.

Chelsea Mitchell had a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds, and four Morgan State players scored in double figures, but the Lady Bears fell 70-64 on the road to Omaha on Sunday.
