Miles’ Devonte Fuller named to BOXTOROW Division II All-America team

Miles guard Devonte Fuller has been named to the BOXTOROW Division II All-America team for his efforts during the 2018-19 season. He was named to the Second Team.

A senior from Hickory, N.C., Fuller was the leading scorer for the Golden Bears this season, averaging 11.3 points per game. His rebounds (5.5) and free throw percentage (85 percent) also was tops on the team while finishing second in 3-point field goals (40) and steals (25) for Miles, which won the SIAC title for the first time. He also fronted a defense that lead the nation in defensive scoring and field goal percentage.

Fuller was one of six players from the SIAC named to the BOXTOROW Division II All-America team. BOXTOROW has covered HBCU sports  for more than 10 years and has named an All-America team since 2009.
