Overseas Hoops: ratiopharm Ulm signed Cristiano Felicio

German team participating in the 7DAYS EuroCup, ratiopharm Ulm has secured the services of Cristiano Felicio for the next season, the team announced Monday.

His four-year contract with the Chicago Bulls inked in 2017 recently expired making him a free agent.

Felicio, 29, was attached to the Bulls since 2015, despite going undrafted in 2014. His six-year stint generated 258 NBA games played and 17 appearances in the G League. Last season, he posted 1.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per NBA match.

The towering forward/center, former player of Flamengo, became a regular with the Brazil senior national team since his debut in the 2016 Olympic Games. The 2021-22 season will be his first in Europe.

His signing highlights the 2021 class of newcomers also featuring Jaron Blossomgame, Michael Rataj, Fedor Zugic, and Karim Jallow. In addition, the German team has re-signed Marius Stoll, Christoph Philipps, and Thomas Klepeisz this summer.
