Pacers’ Tyreke Evans banned from NBA for two years over Anti-Drug Policy

Indiana Pacers guard Tyreke Evans has been put out of the NBA for violating the league’s anti-drug policy, according to a statement released by the team.

Per Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype that Evans will be eligible for reinstatement in two years.

Though he has never been suspended for drug-related issues somehow this instance warranted a two-year ban.

This past year with the Pacers, Evans averaged 10.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assist per game. For his career he has posted numbers of 15.7 points, 4.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds per contest.
