FC Barcelona overpowered Lenovo Tenerife, 89-72, to clinch a third consecutive ACB Finals berth on Friday.
Pau Gasol scored a team-high 15 points powering his side to win the Spanish League Semifinals best-of-three series, 2-1. Brandon Davies and Cory Higgins registered 14 points each, and Nick Calathes had 13 points.
Barca built a double-digit separation in the first half but knocked out Tenerife with strong defense in the third quarter. The 15-time ACB champions will move on to face arch-rival Real Madrid in the Finals best-of-three series tipping off Sunday.
On the losing end, Aaron Doornekamp connected 6/9 three-pointers for a 19-point effort. Marcelinho Huertas finished his 2020-21 campaign with 13 points and nine assists to his name.
