Rockets trade Micheal Carter-Williams to the Chicago Bulls

As reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Houston Rockets have traded point guard and former Rookie-of-the-Year Micheal Carter-Williams to the Chicago Bulls.

Wojnarowski adds that the Bulls will send a future conditional second-round pick to finish the deal off and apparently the move was a cost cutting one for Houston, as they would have been on the hook to fully guarantee Carter-Williams’s deal for this season had he been on the roster as of 5PM today.

Carter-Williams will not have to worry about living arrangements in the Wiondy City, because the Bulls are going to waive him.

Once he clears waivers , Carter-Williams will be free to find a new team. In his 16 appearances for the Rockets he posted averages of 4.3 points and 1.3 assists in just over nine minutes of action per game.
