SIAC Student-Athlete spotlight: John M. Etheridge of Kentucky State University

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors, will feature John M. Etheridge of Kentucky State University. He is a junior majoring in Education from Douglasville, GA. He maintains a 4.0 as a baseball student-athlete.

Athletic Accomplishments:

  • Division II SAAC Vice Chair
  • All-Academic Team

“To start my career as an educator and to begin coaching.”

“The most valuable lesson I have learned is that everything has to be earned. Coach Henry has made merit a focus on and off the field for my teammates and I.”

How has being a student-athlete at your institution impacted your life?
“It has given me a better outlook. My team has pushed me to be a better individual, athlete, and student.”
