Southern falls to Wright State on the road

DAYTON, OH –  Freshman Damiree Burns and Junior Brendon Brooks each had 16 points for the Jaguars but that wasn’t enough as Southern drops one on the road as Wright State defeated SU 85-62 at the Nutter Center on Thursday night
 
Isaiah Rollins contributed eight points and four rebounds and Delor Johnson chipped in six points off the bench, as Southern (3-7) was lead by Burns with a team high nine rebounds. Micah Bradford, Isaiah Rollins, James Edwards and Brendon Brooks each had four rebounds. 

SU went into the locker room trailing, 44-33. SU shot 33 percent for the game (24-for-72) and 27 percent from three-point range (4-15). The Jaguars shot 67 percent form free throw line (10-15) and out rebounded the Raiders 19-8 on the offensive end. in the paint. Southern turned over WSU eight times.
