Stephen Curry breaks bone in left hand

The hits just keep on coming for the former champion Golden State Warriors. Injuries and departures have completely reformed the previous kings of the NBA. Adding D’Angelo Russell could help somewhat, but they have looked , more oft than not, far from a team that will be playing past the last day of the regular season, much less in May and June.

The team got a vibranium toed kick in the junk at with 8:31 to go in the third quarter when Stephen Curry collided with Suns center Aaron Baynes and the big man fell on Curry’s hand.

After trying to play through it but had to go to the bench and eventually the locker room.

According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne , Curry will get a CT scan on the injured hand. Shelburne added that the initial diagnosis was a broken second metatarsal in the left hand.

With Curry likely out for an extended period of time, look for head coach Steve Kerr to slide D’Angelo Russell over to the point guard position and a nauseating amount of screen and rolls may ensue.
