Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Tampa Bay sneaker spot puts $20,000 reward for thieves who robbed them

The Tampa Police department is on the lookout for four men who robbed Valut 813, a sneaker boutique in the International Park Mall.

Surveillance footage shows four males walking down a back hallway , subsequently making their way into the back room and filling several garbage bags full of sneakers, and exiting back down the hall way. According to Tampa Police, the thieves gained access to the store by cutting a hole through a back wall.

The thieves made off with approximately $200,000 in sneakers including some rare and valuable pieces such as the “Oregon” Air Jordan 6 PE, the “Fab Five 5” Air Jordan 5 PE and the “Father of Asahd” Air Jordan 3.

TBP says if anyone is seen wearing those shoes, this robbery was likely the source of the sneakers.

Vault 813 is currently offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the thieves and the recovery of the merchandise.
