Stupid things People Do For Sneakers: Ohio sneaker robbers charged with robbery and kidnapping

A Columbus, OH sneaker seller in made arrangements to meet with a potential buyer to sell a pair of Air Jordans.

The victim met a 16-year-old juvenile male, 19-year-old Rasad Morrison and an unknown individual at the Amberley Square apartments located on Brandy Drive.

The victim was sitting in his car when the three suspects entered his vehicle and pointed guns at him. The 16-year-old robber forced the victim to unlock his phone, open his CashApp and initiate a transfer money to his account. The robbers also compelled the victim to drive to an ATM to withdraw funds.

After departing the ATM, the robbers drove the victim’s car to the vicinity of Kimberley Parkway E and macs-way Avenue, where they were stopped by law enforcement.

The suspect and Morrison were both arrested and charged with kidnapping, aggravated robbery and robbery
