Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Man robs Hibbett Sports at gunpoint

Police in Columbus, Ohio are on the lookout for an individual who allegedly robbed a Hibbett Sports at gunpoint earlier this summer.

On August 23 at around 8:45pm a man entered the Hibbett Sports located at 3878 E. Broad Street and asked one of the store employees about two pairs of Air Jordans. While he was being checked out the man brandished a handgun and demanded money.

In the interest of self-preservation, the employee ran out of the store; the suspect followed suit , doing so with his ill-gotten kicks but without the cash. The robber got into a dark-coloured minivan that believed to be a 2001 to 2005 Chevrolet Venture.

This is thought to be the van the robber escaped in.

The alleged robber was wearing a wearing a green T-shirt brown shorts,a black New York Yankees baseball cap, pink sneakers and a black face mask.
