Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Thieves break in Seattle sneaker boutique

Seattle sneaker and fashion boutique Likelihood was the target of a recent break-in. According to the Seattle Police Departmenton Tuesday, February 2 at approximately 10 p.m. , they responded to a call that the shop’s window had been smashed in by a rock. The SPD also stated that two employees were assaulted trying to prevent the break-in and one witness indicated the thieves flashed a gun as they fought to escape.

The crooks sped away in a Chevy Impala that was found nearby smashed into a tree.

Police took one person into custody. Recovered from the crashed vehicle were “high-end retail items” and “large quantity” of drugs.

The individual that was taken into custody was, according to police, was identified as the gunman and booked into the King County jail for investigation of burglary of drug violations and was also apparently wanted on a felony harassment warrant.

Although there were three thieves caught on video breaking in to the boutique, the gunman was the only one to be apprehended at this juncture.
