Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Snapchat sneaker sale ends in robbery

A sneaker sale in Hartford, Connecticut ended in armed robbery.

The sale of the sneakers was arranged on Snapchat and a meeting location of 447 Barbour Street was set.

Shortly after the meetings commenced with the seller , the victim found himself confronted by four men and guns drawn on him , who then proceeded to relieve him of his values and run off.

According to Sgt. Valentine Olabasi, the victim then get to an area where he could call police. Officers subsequently arrived and arrested two individuals after a foot chase.
