This edition of Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers, takes us to Buffalo, New York where a sneaker thief used a sledgehammer to make an illegal entrance into a sneaker store.
According to a police report, the crook broke into the store on Monday by smashing through an exterior wall with a sledgehammer. A store employee discovered the hole in the back wall when she arrived to work just before 10 a.m. Monday morning.
The reports also adds that surveillance video shows a man using the tool to smash a hole into the wall and climb inside. Additionally,the report states that the thief absconded with an undetermined numbers of pair of sneakers and that two shoe boxes were found later.
