Delaney said around 8:00 p.m. three individuals arrived to meet the teen. They told him the money for the shoes was in an apartment across the street. When the youngster followed them across the street to an alleyway, a gun was pulled on him and he was robbed of his sneakers and cellular phone. The victim told law enforcement the thrives then ran off.

We here at sneakershoptalk have always stressed to the community how paramount it is in exercising caution when engaging in meetups to sell sneakers to ensure your personal safety. First and foremost, please do not go alone or at night. Secondly, arrange the meeting in a very public place ( plenty of potential witnesses). Implementing these steps cannot completely guarantee total safety  because there are idiots out there who will do stupid things for sneakers, but they help to increase the likelihood of a smooth transaction.
