Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Victim assaulted in sneaker sale gone sideways

Police in Arlington, Virginia are on the lookout for two suspects in a sneaker sale gone awry.

According to police, on August 21 at approximately p.m., two persons met in the block of 22nd Street South to conduct a prearranged sneaker sale. The suspect took the victim down a residential hallway, where another suspect was lying in wait. The two alleged perpetrators then grabbed the victim assaulted him, steeling his cash before escaping into the night.

The first suspect is described as a light- skinned male who stands 5’4″ and weighing between 130 to 140 pounds with short curly hair. The second is described as a Middlef Eastern male with a “chin-strap” beard standing 6 feet tall and weighing between 220 and 230 lbs.

No arrests have been made yet.
