Tennessee State’s Dana Ford to take Missouri State job

Sources have told ESPN that Missouri State is expected to hire Tennessee State’s Dana Ford as its head coach. He replaces Paul Lusk whose ballclubs never finished higher than third in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Coach Ford has been at TSU’s helm for four season. Though he has an overall record of 57-65, he has gone 52-39 since a 5-26 record in his first year. He has lead the Tigers to records of .500 or better in the last three seasons.

Before assuming the Head Coach role at Tennessee State, Ford was an assistant coach at Illinois State, Wichita State, Tennessee State, and Chipola College.
