Tuskegee Football held first scrimmage of the season

Two weeks before facing Alabama State in its season opening game in Montgomery, The Tuskegee University football team held its first scrimmage Saturday morning, working just over two hours at Cleve L. Abbott Memorial Alumni Stadium.

The Golden Tigers were able to get a good evaluation of where they are after the first full week of camp. TU will be off on Sunday before returning to the practice field Monday afternoon. They will hold their final scrimmage next Saturday. Other units on campus also worked in some practice time as the Tuskegee University Marching Crimson Pipers and cheerleaders made a dress rehearsal appearance during the scrimmage. 

2019 season tickets are still on sale. Ticket holders can now renew their seats as well. Complete details can be found here. Fans can also purchase Labor Day Classic tickets versus rival ASU, which is played in Montgomery on Sept. 7. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
