Under Armour partners with KY Boys and Girls Club to donate over 5000 shoes

Owensboro,Kentucky’s Cliff Hagan Boys and Girls Club is going to give away 5,500 pair of shoes, all due to Under Armour.

According to the club, the Baltimore-based athletic company had some extra shoes that they needed to get rid of and contacted the non-profit.

Hagan has contacted local youth-serving and other non-profits to see if they need shoes.

Cherie Varner and Lynne Whittaker of Fresh Start For Women and Children , who received some of the shoes had this to say:

And she called us and she said, ‘hey we have 5,500 pairs of shoes and your name and organization is on the list, and we want to help.’ So we are just very honored and very grateful,”
