Miles College scored the go ahead touchdown with just three seconds remaining in the game to lift the Golden Bears to a 24-21 win and spoil Kentucky State’s homecoming.

WILBERFORCE, Ohio – The Central State Marauders jumped out to an early lead and secured a 44-38 homecoming victory over North Carolina Pembroke on Saturday.

With the win, CSU improves to 4-3 overall. UNCP drops to 1-4 on the season.

Benedict 27, Clark Atlanta 24

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Benedict College Tigers blocked two field goals in the last 4:34 of the game, including the second one with just 45 seconds left, to hold on to a 27-24 victory over the Clark Atlanta Panthers on Saturday and spoil the Panthers’ Homecoming at Panther Field.

Benedict improves to 5-1 overall with its fifth straight win, and 3-0 in the SIAC. Clark Atlanta falls to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the SIAC.

Clark Atlanta had a 21-20 lead at the half, but the Tigers were able to hold the Panthers to just a field goal in the second half. And then it came down to making a pair of big stops at the end.

Lane 13, Allen University (S.C.) 3

JACKSON, TN – The Lane College Dragons picked up a win this past weekend over Allen University (S.C.) in front of their homecoming crowd as Marcus Reynolds threw to Ahmad Isaac and Ryan Whitaker to account for the Dragon’s pair of touchdowns in their 13-3 win over the Yellow Jackets.

Morehouse 19, Albany State 41

Atlanta, GA – Albany State’s quarterback Kelias Williams had a career day. He completed 16 of 18 passes  for a career high 254 yards and three touchdowns as the Golden Rams defeated Morehouse 41-19, giving the Marron Tigers their first loss of the season.
