You can win custom kicks in Whataburger’s social media contest

If you enjoy whataburger and a good pair of kicks, then this contest the fast-food chain is holdoing may be right up your alley.

To enter, contestant are to take a photo of their favorite customized meal at Whataburger and then post it on social media with the hashtag, #WhataThoseContest.

The restaurant has joined forces with renowned San Antonio- based artist Jake Danklefs, founder of the custom design studio Dank and Co. to provide the prizes- three pair of custom created by Danklefs himself.

The first place winner gets a pair of Whataburger themed Air Jordan 1’s valued at $2,000


Second place will be awarded slip-on, burger themed Adidas NMDs valued at $1,500. One emblazoned with “KETCHUP” and the other “SPICY” .

Third place will take home a pair of Stan Smiths featuring prints similar to the sticker Whataburger uses on its burger wrappers.
The contest runs until August 7 after that a panel of judges scores entries on the criteria of quality and originality. The best selections then advance to the semifinals. In the semifinal round the best ten entries are selected to move to the final round in which fans can vote for their favorite entries on Whataburger’s Facebook page. The three finalists with the most votes by August 18 will be the winners.
