Wilson Chandler out 2-3 weeks

Philadelphia 76ers forward Wilson Chandler will miss 2-3 weeks with a strain of the right quadriceps muscle. His anticipated return will be after the All-Star break.

Keith Pompey reports the injury occurred during the third quarter of their game against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday and that he underwent a MRI Friday.

Chandler has suffered thigh, hamstring and shoulder issues that have caused him to miss 16 games this season.

As this has thinned out the Sixers at the four, has caused speculation as to whether the club could look to make a move before the deadline to sure up the position in Chandler’s absence.

Chandler is posting per game averages of 6.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 26.4 minutes.
